What is the cheapest internet provider in USA?

Are you currently searching for internet services for your business, but aren't sure which one of the hundreds of internet service providers and pricing plans makes the most sense for your business? In today's video, I'm going to share with you what we've discovered to be the top five business internet service providers of 2022, based on what our viewers typically choose when consulting with rich technology group for services.

So hit that subscribe button so you don't miss any new videos once they release number five. Viasat, Vasat or viasat incorporated, is an american based communications company based in carlsbad, california.

What provider has the best internet?

Viasat was founded in 1986, and their current CEO is richard baldridge. Viasat's main service offering is high speed broadband wireless services for homes and businesses. Now, originally, I didn't intend on putting any wireless or satellite based internet service providers on this list, but I felt like BIOSAT deserved to be on this list for a few good reasons. At the time of this video, I believe BIOSAT may hold the title of the largest broadband wireless services company in the game. They recently had an approximate $9.9 billion bid to buy british satellite company in Marsat.

Assuming that deal went through, this would make them the largest broadband wireless services company in the world. Now, why is this important? Well, because viasat has a unique bragging, right, that most no internet service provider can currently claim, which is the ability to get internet service at pretty much any location anywhere on earth. Not only can they deliver high speed wireless broadband services to virtually any home or business, but they also specialize in delivering services to some of the most difficult and remote locations, such as yachts, ATM machines, and even mobile debit card terminals. So now you're probably wondering, with all this sounding too good to be true, why are they number five on this list?

Well, there's a catch. There's always a catch. We've worked with viasat quite a bit in the past, and while it's a great internet solution for folks who otherwise cannot get anything else in their area, we really do not recommend it over traditional broadband or fiber internet offerings. This is because viasat uses satellite technology. Yes, literally, it sends and receives your data to and from space.

What is the best WiFi in America?

And this can be very problematic. This is simply due to physics. The time it actually takes for a single data packet to get to space and back to your computer from the satellite, while only a matter of milliseconds, can cause serious delays and impact your quality of internet with things like slow page loads and video buffering. That being said, while visat offers some of the highest speed broadband wireless packages on the market, depending on your intended business application uses in question, it may not be the best option for you. For example,

Even though we haven't mentioned them in a while on the channel, Frontier is a house favorite here at Rich Technology Group.

Frontier Communications was founded in 1935, which makes them the oldest Internet service provider on this list. Their current CEO is Nick Jeffrey, and their approximate annual revenue is $7 billion per year. An interesting, fun fact you may not know about Frontier is that they originally started off as a small, local telco company only, specializing and helping clients gain Internet access in extremely rural areas and small communities. The biggest reason we put Frontier on this list is because of their Fios offering. Now, for some of you, that name Fios may sound familiar and synonymous with Verizon, and that's because it really literally is.

What is America's fastest internet?

Frontier offers a rebranded, resold Verizon Fios offering called Frontier Fios. Fios, in our opinion, is one of the best Internet services you can currently get on the market, especially for businesses who require speed and reliability. However, Verizon isn't available in all areas in the United States. Enter frontier fios. We've had many channel viewers who have contacted us looking for Verizon Fios to discover that Verizon isn't available in their zip code.

But oftentimes we've discovered that Frontier Fios is a viable alternative. The nice thing about Frontiers Fios is that the pricing is almost identically on par with Verizon's pricing and promotions. And the speed and quality is exactly what you'd expect from the same Fios business services everyone knows and loves. Now, this isn't to say that Fios is the only thing that Frontier Communications sells, of course. Of course it isn't.

best internet providers

They do offer other Internet and phone services, but we've found that most businesses have specific interest in getting their Fios Internet service packages where Verizon isn't currently in their area. Number three comcast xfinity. Comcast, which officially now goes by the name of Xfinity, was founded in 1981, and 1981 just so happens to also be my birth year. So there it is. It's out there.

home internet providers

Now. You guys know how old I am. Comcast is on this list for one main reason they have a huge serviceability footprint. More often than none. When someone contacts us looking to find out what business Internet service options are in their area, comcast Xfinity tends to be the local monopoly you can depend on.

And I say that jokingly, but not really. No, but seriously, xfinity has an extremely dependable area of availability of service throughout the United States, making them a very appealing option, especially for businesses with multiple locations in different cities or states who want potential consistency in a service provider throughout their entire organization. Xfinity typically offers their business class Internet services which are competitively priced. But there was one major flaw which throughout our observations hasn't seemed to really change over the years. Comcast, or Xfinity, isn't known for having the best customer service.

verizon internet

Some of you may not know this, but in a previous life I actually did hundreds upon hundreds of new installations for Comcast, home and business Internet. I also handled many troubleshooting requests for defective modems and much more. While I'll go as far as saying their Internet services are excellent, their customer service has notoriously been some of the worst in the industry.

But nonetheless, if and when you can find their services in your area, we still recommend it because typically where there is Xfinity internet by way of highest available speeds and more or less consistent reliability of circuit, xfinity is usually the best in class number two Verizon. It's probably no surprise that Verizon is on this list, because we hinted at this a little earlier in the video and in a minute I'll explain exactly why.

What are the 5 internet services?

But before we move on, be sure to follow me on Twitter where you can ask me any questions about business phone systems and Internet services. All questions are welcome and I love engaging with our viewers, so I hope to see you there. Verizon was founded in 1983 and their estimated revenue is approximately $133,000,000,000 at the time of this video. Now, as most of you know, Verizon has many different divisions within the company, with the two of the most notable being Verizon Phone and Internet Services and Verizon Wireless, respectively. Verizon takes the number two spot on this list for one reason and one reason only their excellent award winning Fios Internet service.

Now of course, Fios Fiber isn't the only thing that they offer, but for the purpose of today's video, we're going to talk Fios. We've helped dozens of customers obtain Verizon Fios Internet services for their business over the years and I can personally say this service is kick ass. It's super fast, it's reliable, and best of all, its pricing is extremely competitive, its dollar per gig cost typically is unbeatable in the market in comparison to other providers that are still trying to sell overpriced Internet fiber circuits for hundreds of dollars per month for less than five to ten megabytes of service. Another thing that gets Verizon the number two spot on today's list is their customer service. I mean, I'm not saying it's perfect, but it gets the job done.

And we've personally had very few customers contact us regarding issues with their Internet service or problems with the level of follow up from Verizon's customer service or support representatives. In our experience in dealing with new customers, we've also typically seen about a one to two week installation and completion of new services from the time of contract signed date, which is pretty good by industry standards. Now, remember earlier in the video when I said there is a catch, there's always a catch. Well, Verizon is no exception to the rule. The one and only complaint we have about Verizon is while their FIO service is damn near perfect, the area of service ability can sometimes be very difficult.
